Came here from the recommendation of an Uber driver. He said they have 2 for 1 special going on during summer and my coworker and I immediately said yes. Neither one of us was dressed to go to a steakhouse. I had shorts on and a hat. I looked very out of place in this spot. Servers were pretty kind to us. I got the boned in rib eye and it was like $52. Coworker got the filet and that was like $55. 2 steaks for $50 is amazing in my books. They did medium rare perfectly. The only thing is that if you don't really like too much butter on your steak this might not be the best place. However, it hit to spot for me and I was pretty satisfied. They also have a pianist and singer at the bar. Pretty neat! I think the fact that there was a 2 for 1 special really pushed this up to a 5 star for me. If it wasn't I think it would've been a 4 or 4.5. Can't beat this value anywhere. I'm surprised they are even offering this.

The overall experience was good. The service was as expected since we had an early dinner and the place was not busy yet. We had the calamari to start. It was a bit soggy and sitting in a pool of oil. Our entrees were cooked well (filet, bone-in ribeye, and 16oz ribeye - all med rare). We also ordered the rack of lamb to share. We were surprised to see it was not a "rack" of lamb but three thinly sliced pieces sitting on top of undercooked and inedible cut potatoes. And for $42!!! To top it off they automatically include the tip on the bill at 18%. You have to earn the right to automatically add the tip and this place has not earned it.
Everything a steak house should be! Delicious sides, we had mushrooms & garlic mashed potatoes with cheese, magnificent steak!!! Not to mention the wine, yum yum! Now let's talk about the service - also magnificent, from making a reservation, getting a better table (at their suggestion) when we arrived, to the happy and ever filling water pourer and our waitress, Brina, who made a suggestion that enhanced my dinner choice. A definite pleasure for any Park City evening!

Service went from average for a steakhouse to bad. Only the water guy seemed to pay attention (and picked up the tab after noticing our waiter forgot about it). But real downer was the food. Starters: Oily calamari, bisque was ok (only dish we had that wasn't disappointing). Then for a reason we wait 10mn for entree that came cold... Like ok please take the "rack" of lamb back to the kitchen cause it's cold. Read: so called rack was really 3 lamb chops at 50$ and not even decent ones. Kids took the salmon. Overlooked. Cold. Dry. Mac n cheese the "prime" way: got the same from fresh market and we already thought it was disgusting. Almandine green beans: undercook. Punchline there's a problem in the kitchen. Paid $400 for what was worth $100 top. Spoiled by their location. go to Ruth Chris steakhouse 5mn away (not on main but who cares) cheaper, better, no brainer...

Prime Steakhouse was sufficiently meh to me. I probably should have ordered the steak, but I wasn't feeling up to it so I didn't, which was my mistake. However... I found the prices to be a little extravagant for how mediocre the food was. The vegetable sides were really delicious, but they were super pricey (above Ruth's Chris price) and not as good as other steakhouses I've been to. I've been to some of the greatest steakhouses and this was not one of my favorites. For Park City it's probably fine, but they add gratuity to the check and steaks are around $50 without any sides. I got the chicken, it was very bland and unremarkable. The creamed spinach was good, as were the mushrooms and the kebabs, but I probably wouldn't be itching to return here if I had my choice of dining options in PC.

I'm a steak-eating Texas girl, and after eating at the local top quality steak restaurants- Prime, Butcher's, and Ruth's Criss, Prime definitely has the best steak in Park City...bar none! After trying all three, went back to Prime to make sure, and it still was the best!!

What a great little place. The service was great and the food and drinks were top notch. I would recommend you stop in and enjoy the great food and service!!!!

Came in on a friday...we knew it was crowded...told ...go to bar we will get you. In the middle of the bar there is a place setting..."reserved"...I sat down...after a couple of beers...woman comes over and asks if we want to stay at bar...I point at sign...she says..."Oh thats nothing and takes it away." Tom the bartended...nice guy...takes our order... Crab cocktail...OK...not a culinary triumph but al lot of crab. Bread was lousy...for these prices get something less commercial. Steak...rib eye...grisly ...but OK...but not for $46 My partner gets NY strip...supposed to be MR..cmes in rare. He doesn't say anything till end...makes a passing comment...Tom comes back...I took off yoiur appetizer and a couple of drinks for the issue...thanks For these prices...should be stellar...have had better...hate the fact restaurants in tourist towns just accept the fact they cam be mediocre...run by kids.

Excellent steak house! Loved it, my husband ordered a rib eye and he loved the taste and cooked to perfection. My fillet was perfect as well. Good cocktails and the gentleman singing at the bar was awesome. He sang great hits like Springsteen and Zepplin! He was great. Staff was really really nice. Loved this restaurant.

Damn good! Came out to 90 bucks a person with a glass of wine and some sides. Ordered the rib eye on the bone and it was delicious!!! One of the best and I've eaten at a lot of steak houses in NYC. I would have given it 5 stars but 1- we were seated at the right hand side of the restaurant which is the more "dead" part and where you feel so separated from the livelier part of the restaurant and 2- it's a bit expensive for Park City. Would I go there again probably not but maybe for a special ocassion.

The 'locals deal' makes this the easy choice for upscale American dining in Park City. Solid steak house menu with superb and attentive service.

Steaks were great as was the beat & goat cheese salad. It's expensive, so it was disappointing that our server seemed to have previously worked at Hooters. Everything was exposed. She was in a big hurry to empty our half bottle of wine, before our main course arrived. She kept coming back to the table every few minutes to pour and ask how our food that just hit the table was. Than when we finished our main course, she dropped the $300 check, without asking if wanted dessert or coffee!! Food was good, service was not up to par and very disappointing. I would only go back in the summer months for the BOGO. Too expensive otherwise.

Gave it a 3 star due to the fact that the Reisling was a German made and great!!! 12oz. filet was ok. Honestly I wish i would of ran down to Ruth Chris. Their filet is by far superior. My main issue was the automatic gratuity. It was just my wife and I then they hit us with THEIR OWN GRATUITY!!! Biggest BS i have ever seen. Too bad. We are locals and they lost our business and our friends!!! Try that TOURIST GRATUITY SCAM ON locals. Should be ashamed of themselves!!!!

Of course the food is great, but what sets this restaurant apart from most restaurants is their attention to the happiness of the customer. We ordered their special fillet, but they came back a few minutes later to tell us it was sold out. So for the same price they upgraded our order to the most expensive steak on the menu which is their bone in filet. To say they went above and beyond would be the understatement of the year. Truly some of the best service I've had in several years.

Ok so this place was probably the best restaurant I dined at in Park City, Utah. The appetizers were amazing, especially the crab cakes , we could not get enough. Wish that I had just ordered that for my entree as well. Shrimp cocktail was average. As far as dinner good goes, my kids had the rib eye, which they enjoyed. I had the chicken, which was dry and flavorless. My husband had a bone in rib eye which he enjoyed a bit till he got to the center and it wasn't cooked properly

This is one of the best places to eat on main. With it's laid back feel and awesome food and smiling staff makes this one of park city's gems. You can ask your server to bring you a couple different appetizers and you won't be disappointed. The rib eye and the prime filet is phenomenal. It's a little pricy but it's worth it if you don't want to go shirt and tie and get a good bite.

I'm stunned this steakhouse is rated so highly...food not seasoned properly/not executed well. The best part of our meal was the beet salad which my dad really enjoyed. I had the crab & lobster bisque-it was good but under-salted?. I really couldn't taste the broth. For the first time that I can remember I salted a bisque at a fancy steakhouse. The steaks were similarly needing of some flavor. High quality meat, cooked correctly, but in need of some salt or something. We were eating well cooked high quality pieces of meat that didn't taste like anything-either poorly prepared/stored or poorly seasoned. If we are going to pay $40+ for a steak I want it to be pretty close to perfect. I've had better steaks at $20 steakhouses. The service was great.

I've been here a couple times, and now I feel confident writing a review. The guy in the piano bar is terrible. Sounds like he should be practicing in a garage. He is also a bit too loud. Maybe I can get patio seating when the weather is warm, but what til then? I definitely don't want to sit in the regular dining area. It is too dark, gloomy, and conservative. I would give this place 3 or 3.5 stars, but I'm giving it 4 because it is a steakhouse that I don't have to worry about going to with my boyfriend. He is a spoiled steak snoot, and he likes it--enough to give it 4 stars (HUGE for him). The service is always great, although there are always mistakes in my order initially (I'm Gluten Free) and things have to be re-made. However, I've never been glutened here. I always have some kind of fish--seared tuna or salmon. It's fine but nothing to be desired again. However, I realize that it is a steakhouse, and everyone I bring here likes it a lot.

Great steaks, sides & sauces. My adult daughter had never been to chop house and the waitress did a great job explaining cuts and cooking temps so She had a wonderful experience.
Good service and great food. Most of us had bone-in prime rib which we all devoured. Good selection of sides. Good ambience, not too noisy but happy atmosphere. Stacy catered to us and did an excellent job. Competition in the steak house business is fierce and there is another level of flavor which is what i reserve the 5th star for. However worthwhile a visit and not insanely expensive.

Great food and excellent service (thank you, Julia). Ribeye was outstanding! The sides are a bit on the smaller size, so be sure to order a few.

Grab a seat in the piano bar if you're dining later in the evening! The food here is good, but not fantastic. Our steaks were cooked just the way we ordered and the veggies were fresh cut. They do 2-for-1 entrees in the summer, which was also nice. However, when we got our bill our waitress had included her own gratuity. $20 on a $74 tab?

Had the greatest filet mignon ever. Mushrooms and garlic mashed with cheese was the perfect size for 2 people to share with a petite filet and some wine. High recommened to anyone looking for a good steak and a nice night out with some piano playing and good service.

After walking out of Lespri after being informed that they were out of 2/3 of their steaks, we had a wonderful meal at Prime. Yes, the food was good and the steaks cooked perfectly, but the service brought us out of the cranky mood set by our earlier restaurant. Brad and the team were fun, attentive yet let us take our time late in the evening...enjoy your time off guys! The sizzling hot plate is not my thing, but did not detract from the steak, which was definitely one of the tastiest steaks in recent memory.

A nice restaurant and experience. Typical "steak house" in positive sense: dark decor, great cuts of meat, cooked spot on, good sides. Service was very good. Nice wine list, bottle or by glass. Pricey but what you would expect. Would definitely go back.

Man I really wanted to like this place especially since the service was excellent!! Megan the manager was extremely attentive. Tyler our waiter did a fantastic job checking on us, The water guy (I wish I remembered his name, sorry buddy) was "Johnny on the spot" refilling our waters. Ok so we brought our children, we have 9 year old triplets & before you go judging me on who takes their kids to what may seem like an adult restaurant I'll Tell you this....SAVE IT! If only most adults were as all behaved & polite as my kids. But this is not a review on my children Moving on prices are steep at this place, but who cares a good steak is going to cost you. We were expecting this. We also opted not to order the triplets kid's meals. They can get frozen chicken fingers anywhere & they wanted steak. We ordered a 16oz NY strip for the kid's to split. That is what Megan recommend & said it would be more than enough. We also got them mashed potatoes, Mac & cheese & French fries as sides. I got the 6oz filet with green beans as side & my husband got the 16oz ribeye. Well if you just want to go eat some great sides this is your place! Because as far as steaks go they ALL lacked flavor & were overcooked. I like mine med. plus that does not mean burnt & dried out. My husband got his med. it was well done. Same with the kids, poor things we went there last week & they would still be chewing if they finished their steak. So $300 later we had a couple good cocktails (we took a cab) & some good appetizers...although how can you really go wrong with French fries, mashed potatoes & green beans? As a side note I asked why they didn't have Brussels sprouts as all decent steakhouses do & they said, "we know, everyone asks for them" Here's a thought then get them on your menu? While your at it once you do go ahead & change your name to PRIME SIDE HOUSE, because steaks are not your specialty. Like I said I wanted to like this place, maybe Megan & Tyler will move do a good steakhouse I would love to go there if you do!

Every time I visit Park City I'm either eating dinner here or sitting at the bar being entertained by a very talented piano player....who takes requests. The food is excellent but you will pay dearly for it. I think it costs just to order food in this place. BUT, and it's a big but, you're in Park City, and it's a steak house, and it's on the main drag. so suck it up and enjoy. the steaks are crazy good, the apps amazing, and the service is tremendous. Have to also mention many of the servers are REALLY hot (ladies).

We had a great meal, I had a filet it was wonderful with garlic mashed potatoes the onion and tomato salad was yummy .i would come again.. it was have been nice to hear the music you might want to mention this before you are seated if you are interested. We were in the back room so we missed out .

We've been here several times, every time we visit Park City - good steaks, especially for 2 for 1. Our kids love the artichoke and tuna too. Would consider it on par with most steak houses. Later in the evening they even have live piano music.

Bammmmmm! This place is the friggin' bomb! A friend called me and said he wanted to treat my wife and I to dinner. He said find a place that is 4 or 5 star, make a reservation and I will pay for it (he lives in another state). My online research found Prime in Park City, which is not far from where I live. Here's the rub...... The steak and lobster was probably as good as I have ever had. BAMMMMM! The service was out of this world. I never needed to ask for anything. Our water stayed full, they cleared our plates when we were done. They scraped the crumbs off our table a couple of times. Definitely the best service I have EVER experienced. Thanks for a great birthday!! Bamm! The ONLY reason I didn't give Prime 5 stars is because I thought the calamari was not great and the molten chocolate cake that gets lots of love on their menu and on their website was super small and not up to the hype. But the STEAK, LOBSTER and SIDES, particularly the creamed spinach.... BAMMMMM! :)

After trying 25+ restaurants in the Park City area over the past six months, I decided it was time to write some reviews. Prime is one of the first restaurants we visited in Park City. We wanted steak, and based on the reviews, we went to Prime. To be honest, my response was 'meh.' Yes, it's great steak, good service, elegant decor, etc. But there was nothing whatsoever to differentiate it from any other high-end steakhouse I've been to. There was nothing unique about the menu, the decor and service were forgettable, and the food was on par with (but not above) other good steakhouses. If I want a tasty chunk of meat in Park City, I'm going to someplace like Riverhorse (high-end) or Grub Steak (moderately priced).

Prime steakhouse is so refreshing for Park City, home of overpriced restaurants with average food and subpar service - can't believe this was our first visit. Our experience at Prime was so good it actually deserves a few superlatives. - Best service I've had in Utah, by far. We were even impressed by the individual helping our server (who professionally introduced himself as such) - Best steak I've had in Utah, rivals any in Chicago (which has the best steakhouses IMO). I had the bone-in ribeye (my favorite cut) and it was fantastic. - Best overall dining experience I've had in Utah, by far. Good atmosphere, good service and a steak that was worth the $49 they were asking, which isn't easy. This place was so good I need to revisit other places I've given 5 stars and back them down to four. THAT is how I know this place was amazing.

Since we had fond memories of our last visit to Prime Steakhouse, we decided to try it again over the 4th of July weekend. Their off-season "2 for 1" entree deal makes it a great value, considering the quality of food and service here. We started with salads. I had the bleu cheese wedge and Lisa had the hearts of palm. They were both delicious. The house-made bleu cheese was amazingly chunky and tasty. Yum! The only downside to Lisa's salad was the fact that it had a huge bunch of olives (on the side of the salad, in a pile, luckily) that were just plain, black, olives from a can. They didn't add anything, but "cheapness" to the salad. But we just left them. No harm, no foul. For dinner, I had the NY Steak (medium rare) and Lisa had the ahi tuna (seared, rare). The tuna was wonderful. Sushi-grade tuna, nearly raw, with a really tasty asian-inspired sauce. This thing was melt in your mouth tender. My steak was definitely USDA Prime meat and a really good cut. Nice marbling and great flavor. The downside: they brought it out sizzling on a 500-degree plate. PLEASE STOP with this ridiculous idea!! Just because Ruth's Chris does it, doesn't mean anyone else has to. I watched the waitress bring out a giant lamb chop to the neighboring table (on the patio). From my vantage point, with the sun directly behind the neighboring table, I could see the grease sputtering and splattering all over the dude's dress shirt from his hot plate. He didn't seem to notice, or maybe he just didn't care. So, when my steak came out (medium-rare), I basically shielded myself with a napkin for the first ten minutes, rather than letting it destroy my clothing. The OTHER major problem with the scalding hot dinner plate is that my steak sat there and continued to cook. By the time my plate had cooled off enough to stop the cooking process, my previously perfectly cooked steak had morphed into medium territory, with the "rare" part cooked out of it. Bummer. It was still a great steak, but was less tender and flavorful than when I first received it. The garlic mashed potato (add cheese) side dish was splendid with the cheddar cheese giving it a really nice crispy crunch on top and delectable smooth and creaminess in the middle. Our bottle of chardonnay was quite tasty, but $38 for a $7 bottle of wine seems a bit excessive. Next time, we'll take our own and pay the $15 corkage. The service was very impressive. Our waitress was super helpful and attentive and a guy even stopped by to put little plastic wedges under out table feet to make sure it didn't wobble. Overall, it was another great experience at Prime and we'll definitely go back when we're ready to drop $75/each on a nice dinner. I'll just remember to order my steak RARE... or better yet... I'll request that they forego the ridiculous Ruth's Chris gimmick.

Wanting to have a nice dinner in Park City for our one year anniversary, my boyfriend and I decided to come here as he's a big meat and potatoes kind of guy and I'm um, a side dish and appetizer at steakhouses enthusiast? Eh, we still ended up coming here and were very satisfied with our meal. First of all, coming here I was expecting to pay a lot for not very much food. But with the off season, and the "2 for 1" entree deal, I ended up paying a lot for a decent amount of food! Together we ordered the crab cakes as an appetizer, a 16 oz. ribeye, the seared tuna filet, the sauteed asparagus, the garlic mashed potatoes, and the molten lava cake. Crab cakes: I will say that these are some of the best crab cakes I've had in Utah. Very heavy on the crab, and it tasted very fresh. It had just enough breading to keep it together maintaining the term "crab cake" instead of "bread crumb cake with a little bit of crab." I would comment on everything else more closely, but then this review would be a really long review, which mine are fairly long to begin with. But I was very pleased with my tuna, except for the sauce it was swimming in, I would preferred it to have been on the side. Both the asparagus and mashed potatoes were delicious, and plenty, as they are served family style (so don't get too afraid by the a la carte menu prices). And the molten lava cake was a perfect way to end a great evening.

Much too expensive for the quality and quantity of food. Good service though.
Best steak I have ever had, EVER! Perfect service! Worth every penny! Bonus: We got to see movie stars.

I really wanted to love this place. We spend a week in Park City every year. This was our first visit to Prime. The wine list....great. The salad....the tomato and onion....the onion was WAY too powerful. I would suggest a thinner slice on the onion. The steak.....ok after sending it back once to be cooked correctly. Salmon........overdone. Bernaise, cold. I sent that back too. The waitress said the bernaise would separate if it was heated. I'm from Scandinavia and we eat hot Bernaise and it doesn't separate, ever. Maybe the chef needs a little help? Or training? The quality of the meat was good. The flavor of the meat was great, hence the 3 stars. The waitress did bring dessert for free because she knew dinner was under-exceptional. The highlights were the Grgich Hills wine and the bread. I could have paid $100.00 for those two items, but instead paid $260.00 for lackluster steak and salmon. Suggestion: hire a new chef. Atmosphere was good, service could have been a little better. The manager really wants things to go right and she works hard. She wanted better for our meal. Hopefully she can make some changes to better the service for others.

Tough to judge this place as it was hit and miss. My steak (a filet) was really good but not fantastic, while my wife's steak was one of the best I've ever had (also a filet). Our side dishes (green beans and garlic mashed potatoes) were both very good. But the appetizers were lacking. The Scallops Chester was way too cheesy and wasn't cooked well and the Lobster Bisque (at $13 a cup, not bowl) was good but not great. Loved the bread. Overall, I guess I just expected a bit more for my money, espeically considering the price.

Love Prime! Great food- love the tuna steak and crab cakes. Steak (filet mignons) is fabulous. Top notch all around. BUT my favorite thing about Prime is the staff. Personable, professional, great positive attitudes! I get so tired of snooty staff at higher end restaurants - so it is so refreshing to head to this great place! Always a wonderful evening all around. Never head to Park City without a evening at prime!

Wow! What a great place to come. Loved the atmosphere. .. loved the food! The service was perfect. In fact I made our reservation using Yelp. We were seated right away. And in the special requests I mentioned that it was our honeymoon and we would like to have a great table. So, when we sat down our server Stacy treated us to their famous Chocolate Molten cake and sparkling cider on the house. Thanks Prime for helping to make our night memorable.

Prime Steakhouse is exactly what you would expect from a place called Prime. The service was better than average, the menu, varied and complete. The French Onion soup was good, not great, but better than average. The Rib Eye and Filet were delicious and cooked as requested. The Sauteed Spinach was tasty as well. Prior to dinner we sat in the bar area for a little while and enjoyed a cocktail. I wish that sitting at the bar felt a little more intimate than it did. Other than that it was a nice experience.

Excellent atmosphere, wine and very friendly staff. Their steaks were tender, but the steak seasoning wasn't up to par. You know, when nothing is needed because the steak holds up on its own. This applied to my filet as well as my colleagues New York Strip. I enjoyed Butchers across the street much better, they can prepare a perfect medium rate filet seasoned to perfection.

The food was amazing and the service even better! We had six children with us an they were extremely accommodating. We asked to be seated outside and they quickly seated us where we asked. It was chilly and they brought out shawls for us to wear. Our server, Tyler, gave us the best tips and advice for what to order.., he was all around amazing! My large group was all around extremely pleased. The 2for 1 entree made it affordable for our large group.

Green beans were great. One steak came out under cooked and had to be sent back. After that both steaks tasted great. They weren't dressed with any sauces so you could taste the meat as is. The chocolate molten cake Prime claims is the best was tiny, really tiny and only okay.

As out of towners coming to Park City for a visit, we came to Prime Steak on a Monday night based on Yelp reviews. We made our reservation for 2 via open table and requested to be seated by the piano bar (because we really like live music and don't get enough of it in Connecticut). We ordered a bottle of wine - our waiter Tyler was very knowledgeable and helpful. He informed us that the items on the menu are as you see it, so entree's don't come with sides, you have to order them extra, but each side order would be big enough to share. The guitarist (guess it wasn't a piano guy night) was entertaining and talented. He performed a number of requests and engaged all of the people in the bar area. Sitting right next to the speakers at first didn't seem like the best idea at first, but it turned out to be not that loud. The guitarist did a good job of adjusting sound levels - he gets streamed live throughout the entire dining room in the back as well. Food: You get a loaf of warm bread while waiting - which isn't long. We got the 8 oz filet ($40) and the 8 oz seared tuna ($38). Both were very delicious. When they say the plates come out hot - they definitely do as you can see the steak still sizzling on the plate. The tuna comes seasoned and on top of a mustard sauce with a side of wasabi, pickled ginger, cucumbers and garnished with cilantro. It tasted very fresh and the combination of the seasoned tuna and mustard sauce were very good. The filet was cooked correctly and very juicy and flavorful - no need to order any additional sauce. We got a side of grilled asparagus - good, comes with a side of melted butter, but doesn't need it. For dessert we got the prime chocolate lava cake - SO GOOD! It was smaller than expected, but every bite makes the wait and 11 dollars worth it. It also comes with 2 small scoops of vanilla ice cream. The cake is so rich and moist - I highly recommend. Overall, this place is good for dinner if you are willing to pay for it and the live music is good as well - you can just come to the bar and order drinks if you want to listen without ordering an expensive dinner. They have someone performing every night.

I, along with my husband and 10 year old daughter had dinner at Prime Steakhouse on Wednesday 6/13/12. We ordered the lobster & crab bisque, Caesar salad, and the House salad. The bisque was delicious and creamy, with fresh lobster and crab. With the House salad, the white vinagrette dressing was excellent. My daughter dipped her bread in the dressing! Side dishes we ordered were: Green Beans Almandine, Creamed Spinach, Broccoli, and Garlic Mashed Potatoes. The side dishes were okay. My favorites were the green beans and garlic mashed potatoes. My least favorite was the creamed spinach (and I love spinach.) We each ordered the USDA Prime Petite Filet 8oz. The steak was served on a 500 degree plate so the meat will continue to cook. For dessert, we each ordered the PRIME Molton Valrhona Chocolate Cake, served with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. The cake is a light tender chocolate delicacy with a hot center custom made per individual order. You need to order 20 minutes prior to when you want it. The food was good, but nothing spectacular. Our one complaint was having to pay $17 for a short pour of wine. They were busy that night, so the service was not that great either.

So I would love to give prime 4 stars but sadly our service did not really stand up. I am usually pretty easy going about this but everytime our party ordered something like another round of drinks and such.... something was missing. When you are dropping $80 a head it just demands better service. I understand that it is Sundance and they are slammed but I would appreciate a little more explanation. On the positive note the food is very good, my filet was cooked to perfection and the granache wine I had paired well with my meal. I would definitely come back and here but I just wouldn't expect the best service during Sundance. On a positive note, I was happy that at the end of the meal the server did apologize for dropping the ball. Which is why I will come back. I have had from OTHER place the server pretend like they never screwed up and it was all my fault or something.... Thank god this was not my experience. I would simply suggest staffing a few more servers during Sundance, ( which may not be possible since it is a small ski town.)

Fantastically aged meats full of flavor. Excellent sides. Best steak I've ever had. Pricey but well worth it.

Bottom line: not worth the ridiculous cost. Eat at Talisker instead. Hubby and I came for Valentine's Day (mistake #1) and split the larger filet with the crab meat along with appetizers and a side. We ordered it medium and it came out well done. Had to send that back, and it came out medium-rare. Whatever, better than well done. Mashed potatoes were nothing special. The service was along the lines of a good server at, say, Olive Garden. Laugh if you will, but crumbs were left on the table, we had to ask for drinks, etc. They gave us a complimentary dessert to make up for the fact our $60+ steak was screwed up. How generous. Oh, I thought the decor was tasteless. They actually had napkins (just like the ones on your lap) used in the restroom for towels. Every time I wiped my mouth with my napkin, I wondered where that had been...

Outstanding dining experience. Food was fabulous and the service outstanding. Only minor complaint was that the ribeye tasted more like a NY strip. Had a minor issue when the waiter accidentally spilled beer on one of our 6 diners - the manager immediately appeared and made arrangements to have the sweater cleaned and comped coffee and deserts for all 6 of us. The deserts were to die for. Would definitely recommend the Prime Steak House.

We really enjoyed our meal at Prime, even with kids. Two for one entrees in the summer is very welcome too! The salads were nice, steaks were done perfectly, and the baked potatoes were huge. We asked out waitress to put the kids' orders in first, and they were out by the time we placed the adult orders. She was also nice enough to bring a (very generous) sample of the cheese sauce from the mac and cheese, so my connoisseur could decide if it was to his liking. He loved the cheese sauce and proceeded to eat cheese sauce and bread for dinner, ignoring the mac and cheese. The music in the bar was *not* piped into the restaurant, and was enjoyable as background.

Okay so I ate at the Prime steakhouse Saturday evening with my wife and a good buddy of mine. We are all huge steak lovers and were excited after seeing such great reviews on Yelp and on other sites. I started off with the wedge salad which had this amazing Blue Cheese dressing on it, the dressing was amazingly chunky and the lettuce was fresh and crisp, so far so good. Then as a table we ordered the Calamari, it was just OK. nothing special, to me it was overly breaded and the sauce was just meh.. Now on to the steak baby!! Both me and my buddy ordered the Rib eye steak 16 oz, I love the juiciness of this steak and the marbling of this cut and wanted to see what Prime could do with it. Well it was sooo damn good, and cooked absolutely perfect, I like my steaks medium rare and that's the way it came out. My wife ordered the Fillet and it was good but not great.. We usually go to Ruth's Chris when we want an amazing steak experience, and the filet at Prime didn't quite live up to our expectations. It wasn't as juicy and tender or as flavorful as we get from Ruth's Chris. We also had the Garlic Mashed potatoes and the sauteed Asparagus, both sides were just average nothing to write home about. This place was good not great, a little overpriced but i would probably go back some day to get that amazing rib eye again.

If you venture to Park City, Utah for golf or winter sports this is the place to dine. Their bone-in ribeye is the best I have ever had. Nothing but local grass fed beef, great wine selection and the guy at the piano bar is outstanding.

Disappointed in my filet, I ordered medium well and the steak came out rare. The edges were cooked so I ate it. The waitress who was very nice didn't check on us until everyone had finished. She offered free desert (which I was already getting courtesy of four square) but acted like it was "her" treat. Received the bill and had a $7.50 charge for desert. Had to have the bill changed and desert boxed the whole ordeal took longer than the actual dinner. I'm sure the steak would have been good had it been cooked the way I wanted it. Was disappointed in spending $40 for a steak I didn't fully eat.

By far the best steak I have ever tasted . Service was excellent by Rebecca. Alacart item supreme. Don't miss this place.

Prime is one steakhouse that delivers in PC. The atmosphere was good the service was better. The rib eye was cooked to perfection and seasoned for amazing flavor, the filet was oozing with taste. Even the sides were strong. The cream of spinach was perfect and how can you go wrong with Mac n cheese. Only downside was we were to full to enjoy a dessert! Prime is priced exactly how you would expect a fine steakhouse to be, food, service and experience were all top notch.

Food was excellent as always. The live guitar player in the bar was excellent. Unfortunately, there were 3 guests eating at the bar that were very loud which was forgivable but very 5th word was the s bomb or the f bomb. I am not stranger to these words but I didn't appreciate listening to it all thru my meal. It offended more than just me; the Patron next to me was going to stay for an after dinner drink but ended up muttering under his breath and leaving.. When I mentioned this to the bartender, who seemed to know these people well, he didn't even acknowledge my concern. They are definitely regulars as the bartender was buying them extra sides and also a dessert. Many of the other servers and employees seemed not to be bothered by this either. I just expect this behavior to be acceptable at a pub not a high end steakhouse. What a shame.

Best Filet Mignon I have had. I visit Prime Steakhouse quarterly when my clients and I have meetings in Park City. It NEVER ceases to leave me in utter heaven after dinner. The atmosphere is upscale but not pretentious. You can come casual or dressy and you will fit right in. The piano bar is perfect for a pre-dinner drink. But you can dine in there too! They have live music there and it is a slightly more casual feel than the dining room. They have an excellent wine selection for ALL levels. Their sommelier is wonderful and she is very friendly and knowledgeable. She'll help you select the perfect wine for your dinner and for your taste and budget as well as offer serving suggestions. You can't go wrong with their appetizer choices. The lobster bisque (seasonal) is SO rich and wonderful. The seared ahi tuna is superb. They even offer beer battered onion rings to satisfy any taste! Their sides are shareable and always good. My favorites are the sauteed spinach and the asparagus. We've also tried the creamed spinach with cheese and the macaroni and cheese. Both are great but the creamed spinach with cheese was over the top for me. Every time I go I get some version of the Filet. I usually get the Petite Filet cooked Medium and it is 100% hands down the best I have had. Their signature filet has lump crab meat and bernaise sauce.... delightful! It is quite a meal so be ready for food coma if you order it. I usually don't have room for dessert but I have tried the molten cake and their apple dessert that they are still working on. Both excellent. Their hot tea selection is wonderful and, in my opinion, the best way to end such a decadent and absolutely wonderfully filling meal. Try them out!
Great food, great service, great atmosphere, great value. My friend and I were in Park City in late September 2011 for a girls weekend and stumbled upon Prime on a Sunday night. We were drawn into the bar by the piano music and crowded bar. No tables were available so we opted to eat at the bar. Brad the bartender immediately struck up a conversation and gave us amazing service during the course of our meal. The nicest surprise was the summer 2 for 1 entree special. Two filet mignons please! Everything was delicious, the beet and goat cheese salad (Brad recommendation), onion soup, mac n cheese, and of course the filets, cooked perfectly and so tender. I can't wait to visit Park City again and dine here!!

Service was awful, the back waiter was awesome and our main waiter could have cared less. We won't be back. The Ruth's Chris in Salt Lake has much better service.

Wow! Amazing food, amazing service and beautiful overlooking view of Main Street in Park City. Loved the 2 for 1 which is very prevalent all of Park City. If you are in any restaurant, ask about it. Our service timed our meals perfectly and really did a great job managing our table. Their Zin by the glass is absolutely lovely...try it! Inside...had some great music flowing from the piano bar.

Very good meal. Very reasonable. Good service, nice steak, good sides, nice wedge salad. When I am in Park City again I will return.

I dined at Prime this summer. The service was impeccable! They were running a special...2 for 1 entrees! My husband said it was one of the best filets he had ever eaten. My lobster tail was reasonably priced and cooked perfectly. The only thing I wasn't pleased with was my creamed spinach. I found it to be have a little too much pepper. All in all, a great experience!

After a long day of hiking, this place hit the spot. They have a 2 for 1 entree deal which made dinner a good value. This is surely a summer only deal. The calamari was just okay and the ahi was pretty good although drenched in this mustard / wasabi sauce. Dinner was steaks and mac and cheese. Steaks were very good but not exceptional. Mac and cheese was alright - more light pasta with a cheese sauce. Good value, good (not great) food and good service.

My wife an I spent a few days in Deer Valley for our anniversary. We chose Prime Steak House because of the great reviews. We were not disappointed! Tyler was our server and he took excellent care of us. They even figured out it was our anniversary and gave us an unbelievable molten chocolate cake to help in the celebration. Food was perfect. Lobster bisque was exceptional. Wine and steak were perfect. Service was prompt and friendly. Great live music as well. 5 stars all the way.

This was the highlight restaurant of our trip to Sundance. It is a litte pricey but so worth it. The food was AMAZING and the staff was great. I had called about a week before my trip to get a reservation and was put on the wait list. I must tell you that their staff, especially Renee (I think her name was) was helpful keeping me informed as to where I was on the waitlist. We finally got our reservation the day we wanted and we were so happy. If you go, you must order Sea Scallop Chester - it is enough for two and so yummy! The steaks are very well prepared, the sides are good and the molton chocolate cake was really good.

Great food and service, fantastic musicians in the bar, but be prepared to pay the big bucks! It is worth the money- we've eaten here 4 nights in a row before!

Steak was money, loved getting it sizzling hot! Mashed pots not so much, just warm! I hate sitting 5 feet from the bar and waiting 15 minutes for a bottle of beer. The second time it took 10 minutes for a glass of wine, vanishing server, vanishing bartender, I actually got it myself after seeing it just sit there. Drink watered down. Service was pretty bad for how expensive it is! Holes in the wall, banquette looking quite used. Busser carrying clean glasses by the rim, under his arm, not good. Dish wasn't announced by temp, just that the plate was hot. Just saying! Bread, water service, and steak were great! I really enjoyed the piano man, very good! Just consider it's $80 per person with 1 cocktail and an appetizer.

What are all of you talking about? This place should be called Sub-Prime. I was not at all impressed. $40 for a steak on an empty plate, no thanks. And the service was so-so. Our waitress looked a mess, like she had just come from the gym. No one cleared our appetizer plates and when the entrees came there were plates all over the table. The food was not at all impressive. I was at Prime for a party, so I got a chance to taste many menu items.... Appetizers Bacon wrapped scallops - tough and fishy Bisque- all I could taste was raw flour and cream Entrees The steaks looked great and I'm sure they tasted great, but they don't include any salad or side. Not that the sides were any good. The Macaroni and Cheese was AWFUL! It was undercooked and again all I tasted was raw flour. Maybe it was my fault for ordering the Ahi Tuna instead of a steak. But usually a good steak house can make a nice fish entree too. The tuns was cooed well, but it was drowning in a horrible. It was supposed to be a wasabi mustard vinaigrette. It was overly salted. I couldn't even eat one bite. I was forced to send it back. That is the first meal I have ever sent back, EVER! I'd rather spend my money at Adophs, Butchers, Grub Steak!

Wonderful!! For all the high priced restaurants, this was excellent and so worth the money, even though we were able to use a 2-4-1 coupon. The best in Park City, UT.

I live in LA and there are some pretty good steakhouses here (Mastro's, Morton's, Cut, etc.), so unfortunately this place didn't impress me all that much. The service was cool and the appetizers were good (scallop mac n cheese, shrimp cocktail, calamari), but I wasn't really feeling the steak. Got the bone in rib eye and it didn't taste as good as it looked. For $50 less I woulda rather gone to Main Street Deli and picked up a Club. ps. although my steak wasn't all that extraordinary, some of my friends had other cuts and they were satisfied with them, so it's probly worth going back to try again

I don't often give 5 stars, so the "stars" must have been aligned! 8 pm on a Tuesday and the place was packed. Found four spots ad the piano bar and were serenaded for the rest of the night by Mike and his friend on guitar. Steaks were consistent, mac and cheese creamy-cheesie, lettuce wedge with blue cheese, crisp. All and all what you would expect from a higher priced steak house, add the piano bar and good service to elevate it from a 4 to a 5 star.

Yelp is right with this place. It is five stars all the way, while I have been better places. Prime took our group and we had excellent service along with even better food. I had the Filet Oscar and they knocked it out of the park. Cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful. I order my steaks pitsburg rare and a lot of places don't get how to do it. The wine list was amazing, over all I would return at any opportunity!

One word: EXCELLENT. We had a group of 8 on a Friday night and were quickly seated at our reservation time. Service was top notch- prompty attended to, always asking how we were and the food service was very fast. I ordered the 8 oz filet with the mashed potatos- absolutely amazing meal. Everyone in our group loved their choice. Everyone highly recommended this place. Anything more to say? A+. You will love it.

The crab and lobster bisque here is why this place gets 5 stars. That bisque is the best thing Ive ever tasted. The lobster bisque was a perfect combo of cream and lobster stock and sherry. But it had a kick to it as it was just spicy enough to give it oomph. Then to top it off, it had chunks of blue crab. Not just a little bit, but the whole cup was filled with chunks of blue crab. This was by far the stand out. Im drooling as we speak writing about this. As for the rest of the place, it is exactly like Ruths Chris. The steaks were sizzling in butter, sides a la carte....

I was really excited to go here for a nice birthday dinner and spend some serious money. Well, we spent some serious money and had overcooked dry food. The special was halibut, which sounded so amazing. I got it and it was a dried out, teeny piece of fish, super disappointing. You would think the special would be spot on. My bf got a steak and it was totally over-cooked. Luckily we spend an arm and a leg on side dishes to fill up on. Bottom line: Food was mediocre, Service was amazing. Won't go back.

Butcher's, which seems to be Prime's crosstown rival, had a 50min wait for the BAR area, much less actual seating in the restaurant which was teetering on two hours. Faced with starvation, my girlfriend and I walked down the street to Prime. We were a little bummed we couldn't go to Butcher's b/c the menu looked SO damn good there, but shit- Prime did NOT disappoint. The food was phenomenal! We split their signature filet (8oz or 12oz, topped with some of the best lump crab meat I've ever had, and a serious heap of bernaise sauce- God bless). We ordered sauteed mushrooms and the signature garlic/cheese mashed potatoes. Like I said, the food was absolutely delicious. Oh, and the service was awesome. We were waiting for a high table at the bar area, which took maybe 25 minutes, and when we were seated our super-friendly waitress Julia said they were giving us a chocolate cake dessert on the house b/c we were so patient waiting. Sweet! It was one of those molten lava cakes that you have to pre-order, and comes with two scoops of really good vanilla ice cream. We were stuffed from our steak dinner, but that didn't prevent us from licking our dessert plate clean- it was that good. It's fairly small so regardless of how full and disgusting you feel, I recommend ordering one for the table, surely you'll be able to fit one bite of cake in, and it'll be worth it. One sidenote though- when we went to get drinks at the "bar" while we waited for our table, we had to ask the waiter a stupid question: "'Scuse me, umm..is this, the bar here?" The reason we had to ask such a retarded question is because Utah is a retarded state. You see, not only do they limit the beer to 3.2% and stringently regulate the ounce of vodka in your screwdriver, but now they've decided to cordon off the bar areas in restaurants so "the children won't be able to see the alcohol." God forbid they LOOK at the booze!! Oh no!!! So, this fancy steak house with a nice ambiance had this ghetto, black-painted 2-foot dry wall on the bar counter to "hide the alcohol and mixing of drinks." Fuck you Joseph Smith.

The steak is prepared just perfect!! Ceasar salad lobster bisque delicious! Pricey but worth it. Excellent piano bar. Great ambiance beautiful view of the mountain

Signature Filet and the mushroom side were excellent. Pretty much everything else was just good - Scallops Chester, Calamari and Molten chocolate cake dessert. Though the mashed potato and mac and cheese sides were sub par. Dollar for dollar given that this place is on the highest end of the price range, I'd say it was just ok and would explore other spots before heading back.

Best steak in Utah, for sure!!!! Julia was fantastic! I travel a lot. I live in Syracuse, and have tried everything around here, as well as Texas, Chicago, Scottsdale and Vegas. My favorite is The Ocean Club in Scottsdale, but this place is right on the heals of them. And the service was actually better at Prime!!! Can't wait to come back!!!!

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner here! We were seated in a quiet corner where we could still hear the great piano and acoustic guitar music, but have a romantic dinner. I started with the sea scallops wrapped in bacon, which were the best I'd ever had. My husband had the bisque which was also delicious. Then I had the Prime Signature Filet which is topped with crab meat and a delicious sauce. My husband had the bone-in prime rib. Both pieces of meat were huge, served sizzling hot, and cooked perfectly. The service was impeccable and we only wish we weren't so full that we couldn't enjoy dessert.

This is a wonderful place to enjoy great wine, excellent food and music to move your soul. What a pleasant surprise on so many levels. The staff is warm, welcoming and courteous. We learned PRIME is a family business including a bright, articulate talented woman, her brother who offers excellent service and her husband who sings songs recorded by artists like Elton John, Gordon Lightfoot, James Taylor and a plethora of current favorites. The food was cooked to perfection. The seared ahi appetizer was so good I ordered it again for my entree. The molten lava chocolate cake was as good as any we have had at establishments known for this dessert. We highly recommend PRIME for the food, atmosphere, service and great music.

Best steak I have had in a couple of years. They have 2 for 1 entries during the summer but or bill for two came out to $122 and we had a couple of beers.

As I've mentioned, I love steak. Like, really, really love it. So when we were in PC for Sundance the other week and walked by Prime, I was thrilled. And then I saw the bonus three words after the restaurant name..."and Piano Bar". Whooo hoooo! The food was super delicious - they do the steaks kind of "Ruth's Chris" style with a super-hot plate and a steak sizzling in a ton of butter (but not too much!). Pretty good wine list too. Our server was so friendly and fun and comp'd our desserts because apparently we were just as friendly and fun. And the piano bar part....definitely did not disappoint! The piano player really didn't want to stay late this particular night because it was his daughter's birthday so I definitely had to put up a good fight for some of my requests. He was certain that the bar would turn into a ridiculous sing-along party as soon as he played the first 3 notes of "Sweet Caroline". And he was right!

Park City is great without this place.... Being from vegas we have alot of good steak houses. but the service was great drinks were strong . $150.00 for 2 and a good buzz... thanks guys for a good night. by the way it says not good for kids well i beg to differ all the people around us had young kids. so bring your family.

Perfect all around. Park City was founded over 100 years ago as a silver mining town with lots of newly wealthy and newly poor. There is still the feel of the saloon but with a top notched wine list, first class service and steaks that are the best in Utah. Open your wallet.

We were visiting Park City to see some friends in the off season (late May) and were drawn in by the 2 for 1 entree special. It was slow due to the time of year, but the service was great and the food was excellent. We had the rib eye and the signature filet and both were delicious. The Caesar salad and sides were also very satisfying. Overall, this was an excellent meal with great ambiance and a nice casual approach to outstanding food.

Good service and a good steak. A little heavy on the salt so you may want to ask for light salt if you don't like a lot of salt. Traditional steakhouse ambiance.

so, after a long day of hitting the slopes, it's only natural you'd have a craving for a good hunk of meat. or if you're like bf and I, after a day of putting around on the main street in park city, you're also likely to strike up a craving for a good steak. for whatever the reason or occasion, prime steak house is AWESOME. on par with some of the best steakhouses I've been too (like ruth's chris or the whaling station) and despite this long overdue posting I can still remember the lobster bisque I had as my appetizer! do yourself a favor and get the bisque, the filet mignon, and if you're a fan of martinis (as the bf is) they make a pretty darn good with blue cheese stuffed olives!

I haven't been to a quality steakhouse in a while, so when we hit Prime our first night in Park City, I was excited but somewhat skeptical. I've had so many bad steakhouse experiences lately, I just didn't want to get my hopes up again for another disappointment. Plus, I had a massive allergy attack on the plane and was so congested I figured what a waste this was going to be since I probably wouldn't be able to taste anything. Prime was AMAZING. Appetizers were great. Caesar Salad delicioso. And then, the porterhouse came- oh my gosh. SO good I could smell it. It was perfectly prepared; was not drowned in butter; and was absolutely scrumptious. But I must admit - the real star was the bottle of Bordeaux we had. YUM YUM YUM. The staff was incredibly knowledgable. We didn't recognize the Bordeauxs they offered so we asked our waitress to recommend. She nailed it. We were absolutely blown away. The nicest part about this place ... we were the last table there... everyone else had cleared out and we we the last to leave. Yet, not once did our waitress or anyone else rush us out of there. They kept offering us more and had no problem staying late. It was a wonderful time.

Nice casual steakhouse with excellent ambiance and food. Service was good. We're from Chicago and it's comparable to anything in that city. Plates are extremely hot!! The staff and menu will warn you, which apparently wasn't enough to keep me from burning my finger.

This is my favorite place for steaks anywhere I've been. NY, San Fran.. this place beats em all. My wife an I go up to Park City every anniversary. I love the filet oscar with blue crab.. literally melts in me moutha! Their is some questionable art on the wall which I have to hide when I took my kids..but to be fair, this is not a kids restaurant. Very expensive and very worth every penny.

Outstanding food, outstanding service. Good wine list. Our party of 4 all had the "surf & turf" with the mushrooms, mashed potatoes & asparagus sides. crab cake appetizer was great. You will not be disappointed at portions. Price point is high, but you probably wouldn't be going to Prime if cost was in issue.

What a great little place. The service was great and the food and drinks were top notch. I would recommend you stop in and enjoy the great food and service!!!!

Walked in on a slow nite and Katie, the receptionist, after ignoring us, picked up the phone to call out. We left.

Had the greatest filet mignon ever. Mushrooms and garlic mashed with cheese was the perfect size for 2 people to share with a petite filet and some wine. High recommened to anyone looking for a good steak and a nice night out with some piano playing and good service.

Absolutely awesome!!! Service: perfect! Food: terrific! Unbeatable flavor! Prepared to perfection! One more reason to come back more often to Park City... After such a fine dinner, just a nice and warm bed...

BAMMMMM! :)

We've been here several times, every time we visit Park City - good steaks, especially for 2 for 1. Our kids love the artichoke and tuna too. Would consider it on par with most steak houses. Later in the evening they even have live piano music.

A nice restaurant and experience. Typical "steak house" in positive sense: dark decor, great cuts of meat, cooked spot on, good sides. Service was very good. Nice wine list, bottle or by glass. Pricey but what you would expect. Would definitely go back.

Much too expensive for the quality and quantity of food. Good service though.
Best steak I have ever had, EVER! Perfect service! Worth every penny! Bonus: We got to see movie stars.

It was good. I wasnt blown away but it was good. The sides were amazing but the steak was just OK. Wait staff was nice and I really enjoyed the live Piano. It was overpriced for what we got.

Very good meal. Very reasonable. Good service, nice steak, good sides, nice wedge salad. When I am in Park City again I will return.

Great food and service, fantastic musicians in the bar, but be prepared to pay the big bucks! It is worth the money- we've eaten here 4 nights in a row before!

(5)Mr S.

We ate here tonight for our anniversary. First, the service was fantastic. When we arrived, we were seated in the dining room because the patio was full. I was disappointed as it was such a beautiful night. After we were at our table for ten minutes, the host came and offered an outside table that had opened up--pleasant surprise. Two servers this evening stood out--Julia and Stacey. Wow! They could not be nicer. We ended up exchanging cards at the end of the evening. When I headed to the bathroom, I asked the bartender and busser where it was located. The busser walked me to the bathroom. Quality service all around. I ate the petite fillet and sautéed asparagus. Both were great. Wine list is great as well. Julia sent us a baked chocolate lava of some sort (on her) for our anniversary. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
(5)Janice A.
(5)Jeremie B.
(1)Allison N.
(3)Monica F.
I'm a steak-eating Texas girl, and after eating at the local top quality steak restaurants- Prime, Butcher's, and Ruth's Criss, Prime definitely has the best steak in Park City...bar none! After trying all three, went back to Prime to make sure, and it still was the best!!
(5)Dan W.

(2)Diana C.
(5)Rich S.
(4)Ryan J.
The 'locals deal' makes this the easy choice for upscale American dining in Park City. Solid steak house menu with superb and attentive service.
(4)Lauren P.
(3)Shawn J.
(3)Jim N.
(5)Edwin O.
Walked in on a slow nite and Katie, the receptionist, after ignoring us, picked up the phone to call out. We left.

Yummy. Best steak around. Excellent Service. Worth visiting when in town.
(5)Kenneth G.

(4)Becky C.
We are from Chicago and came out to Park City to ski for the week. We went to Prime hoping to get a nice dinner, but the service was strange and not very good-we kept switching waiters so we had no idea which one was ours. I ordered a Caesar salad and I asked to add chicken. The waitress failed to tell me that it would cost $33 to add chicken to a $14 salad. $47 salad is ridiculous-very upset but was too annoyed to complain. The waitress should have informed me they would put an entrée chicken on my salad. Poor service.

(4)Ben R.
Great food and excellent service (thank you, Julia). Ribeye was outstanding! The sides are a bit on the smaller size, so be sure to order a few.
(5)Sarah D.
(3)Thiago G.
Absolutely awesome!!! Service: perfect! Food: terrific! Unbeatable flavor! Prepared to perfection! One more reason to come back more often to Park City... After such a fine dinner, just a nice and warm bed...
(5)Natasha P.
Had the greatest filet mignon ever. Mushrooms and garlic mashed with cheese was the perfect size for 2 people to share with a petite filet and some wine. High recommened to anyone looking for a good steak and a nice night out with some piano playing and good service.
(5)Ted N.
(4)James F.
A nice restaurant and experience. Typical "steak house" in positive sense: dark decor, great cuts of meat, cooked spot on, good sides. Service was very good. Nice wine list, bottle or by glass. Pricey but what you would expect. Would definitely go back.
(5)Monica G.
(2)Mike C.
(4)LISA M.
We had a great meal, I had a filet it was wonderful with garlic mashed potatoes the onion and tomato salad was yummy .i would come again.. it was have been nice to hear the music you might want to mention this before you are seated if you are interested. We were in the back room so we missed out .
(4)Mary C.
We've been here several times, every time we visit Park City - good steaks, especially for 2 for 1. Our kids love the artichoke and tuna too. Would consider it on par with most steak houses. Later in the evening they even have live piano music.
(4)Chris H.
BAMMMMM! :)
(4)Rachel J.
(3)Gianni C.
For one who does not eat steak often, the mustard pepper corn Ahi Tuna was fantastic. Great service, great staff, and the piano bar music scene is very settling apre ski.
(4)James I.
Excellent filets and salmon cooked perfectly to order. Great wine selection. Wonderful waitress. Highly recommended. Try Chateau Montelena Zinfindel.
(5)dr leslie j f.
It is like Ruth Cris without Ruth ! Great steaks tremendous ambiance Staff is superior even with our grandkids ... we go three or four times each year .. cant be beat....on par with Sparks Steakhouse in NYC or Ditkas in Chicago
(5)Monica K.
This restaurant was fantastic. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the waitress was very nice. We both had the 8 oz filet and shared the garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli. We really enjoyed our dinner.
(5)Erika V.
It was good. I wasnt blown away but it was good. The sides were amazing but the steak was just OK. Wait staff was nice and I really enjoyed the live Piano. It was overpriced for what we got.
(3)Charlie B.

(4)John H.
Much too expensive for the quality and quantity of food. Good service though.
(3)Bob A.
I'm here for winter break and it is tough picking out random restaurants. This one was amazing. Family and I ordered calamari, ribeye, seared tuna, and the amazing lobster bisque, ceased salad, etc. Calamari : perfect Soup: incredible Salad: very good Sides: sautéed spinach and mashed potatoes both great STEAK: sizzling when brought to you -- perfect 10/10 Tuna: cooked perfect but could've went well with sesame Noodles Overall YOU GOT TO GO!
(5)Becky C.
Best steak I have ever had, EVER! Perfect service! Worth every penny! Bonus: We got to see movie stars.
(5)Beverly W.
(3)Bud H.
(3)Maria Q.
(5)Pamela Pamela D.
(5)Steve M.
(4)Dean G.
(3)Susan E.
(5)MB T.
Green beans were great. One steak came out under cooked and had to be sent back. After that both steaks tasted great. They weren't dressed with any sauces so you could taste the meat as is. The chocolate molten cake Prime claims is the best was tiny, really tiny and only okay.
(3)Clarisa Y.

(3)Sheenon O.
(3)Irina R.
Fantastically aged meats full of flavor. Excellent sides. Best steak I've ever had. Pricey but well worth it.
(5)karla f.
(3)Ed R.
(5)Suzanne B.

(3)Gary J.
If you venture to Park City, Utah for golf or winter sports this is the place to dine. Their bone-in ribeye is the best I have ever had. Nothing but local grass fed beef, great wine selection and the guy at the piano bar is outstanding.
(5)Daniel E.
(1)Lonnie R.
By far the best steak I have ever tasted . Service was excellent by Rebecca. Alacart item supreme. Don't miss this place.
(5)Brian S.
(4)N P.
(4)Erin F.

I can't believe we passed on three other suggested places to eat here. We started off with the Sea Scallops Chester, way too much cheese but once you were able to dig the scallops out they were pretty good. For the main course my wife had the 8oz Filet and I had the 16oz New York Strip. We shared some Sautéed Asparagus and Garlic Mashed Potatoes. I definitely prefer Flemming's, Ruth's Cris, etc to this place. I'm not down with paying $40 for a piece of meat and having to put salt on it. My wife liked hers though. The mashed potatoes were runny and not something I would suggest.

(5)Skiboy S.
Service was awful, the back waiter was awesome and our main waiter could have cared less. We won't be back. The Ruth's Chris in Salt Lake has much better service.
(2)Darren B.
(5)William G.
Very good meal. Very reasonable. Good service, nice steak, good sides, nice wedge salad. When I am in Park City again I will return.
(4)Meghan K.
(5)Sherman T.
Excellent service, atmosphere and food especially for the high price but it was well worth it.
(5)matt o.
(3)William P.
Great meal from start to finish!
(5)Alex B.
(5)Jessica Y.
(5)Joe H.
Great food and service, fantastic musicians in the bar, but be prepared to pay the big bucks! It is worth the money- we've eaten here 4 nights in a row before!
(5)Tom S.
(3)Bonnie C.
(2)Gail C.
Wonderful!! For all the high priced restaurants, this was excellent and so worth the money, even though we were able to use a 2-4-1 coupon. The best in Park City, UT.
(5)London T.
(3)Otto A.
(5)Allen B.
(5)Jimmy J.
(5)Jen T.
(5)Polly H.
(2)Jen G.
(5)Holly R.
The steak is prepared just perfect!! Ceasar salad lobster bisque delicious! Pricey but worth it. Excellent piano bar. Great ambiance beautiful view of the mountain
(5)Jeff F.
(3)Zack M.
(5)Bud S.
(5)Lauren M.
(5)Dan O.
Best steak I have had in a couple of years. They have 2 for 1 entries during the summer but or bill for two came out to $122 and we had a couple of beers.
(5)Kate S.
(5)Martin P.
The best. Very consistent, alway high quality, great service and wonderful ambience. This is a winner.....la must for all in Park City, UT
(5)B T.
FABULOUS service and we even sat in the bar area with no reservations on president's day weekend! Our group indulged on calamari, ahi, steak oscar, lobster, mac and cheese, silver oak...perfect evening! Prime and Talisker are my favs in PC!
(4)robin w.
Park City is great without this place.... Being from vegas we have alot of good steak houses. but the service was great drinks were strong . $150.00 for 2 and a good buzz... thanks guys for a good night. by the way it says not good for kids well i beg to differ all the people around us had young kids. so bring your family.
(5)Kevin C.
Perfect all around. Park City was founded over 100 years ago as a silver mining town with lots of newly wealthy and newly poor. There is still the feel of the saloon but with a top notched wine list, first class service and steaks that are the best in Utah. Open your wallet.
(5)Marni D.
(5)Jason O.
Good service and a good steak. A little heavy on the salt so you may want to ask for light salt if you don't like a lot of salt. Traditional steakhouse ambiance.
(4)Grace T.
so, after a long day of hitting the slopes, it's only natural you'd have a craving for a good hunk of meat. or if you're like bf and I, after a day of putting around on the main street in park city, you're also likely to strike up a craving for a good steak. for whatever the reason or occasion, prime steak house is AWESOME. on par with some of the best steakhouses I've been too (like ruth's chris or the whaling station) and despite this long overdue posting I can still remember the lobster bisque I had as my appetizer! do yourself a favor and get the bisque, the filet mignon, and if you're a fan of martinis (as the bf is) they make a pretty darn good with blue cheese stuffed olives!
(5)Anna S.
(5)Zach K.
Nice casual steakhouse with excellent ambiance and food. Service was good. We're from Chicago and it's comparable to anything in that city. Plates are extremely hot!! The staff and menu will warn you, which apparently wasn't enough to keep me from burning my finger.
(5)Pat C.
(5)DeAnn S.
(5)Jacob H.
(5)Mr S.
(3)Dan W.
What a great little place. The service was great and the food and drinks were top notch. I would recommend you stop in and enjoy the great food and service!!!!
(5)Hillary F.
(5)Jeremie B.
(1)Allison N.
(5)T U.
(2)Rich S.
(4)Diana C.
(5)Ryan J.
The 'locals deal' makes this the easy choice for upscale American dining in Park City. Solid steak house menu with superb and attentive service.
(4)Lauren P.
(3)Shawn J.
(3)Jim N.
(5)Edwin O.
Walked in on a slow nite and Katie, the receptionist, after ignoring us, picked up the phone to call out. We left.
(1)Lena S.
(3)Patrick R.
Yummy. Best steak around. Excellent Service. Worth visiting when in town.
(5)Kenneth G.
(5)Jon M.
(2)Natasha P.
Had the greatest filet mignon ever. Mushrooms and garlic mashed with cheese was the perfect size for 2 people to share with a petite filet and some wine. High recommened to anyone looking for a good steak and a nice night out with some piano playing and good service.
(5)Jennifer B.

(4)Ben R.
Great food and excellent service (thank you, Julia). Ribeye was outstanding! The sides are a bit on the smaller size, so be sure to order a few.
(5)Sarah D.
(3)Thiago G.
Absolutely awesome!!! Service: perfect! Food: terrific! Unbeatable flavor! Prepared to perfection! One more reason to come back more often to Park City... After such a fine dinner, just a nice and warm bed...
(5)Monica G.

(4)LISA M.
We had a great meal, I had a filet it was wonderful with garlic mashed potatoes the onion and tomato salad was yummy .i would come again.. it was have been nice to hear the music you might want to mention this before you are seated if you are interested. We were in the back room so we missed out .
(4)Ted N.

BAMMMMM! :)
(4)Mary C.
We've been here several times, every time we visit Park City - good steaks, especially for 2 for 1. Our kids love the artichoke and tuna too. Would consider it on par with most steak houses. Later in the evening they even have live piano music.
(4)Rachel J.
(5)Charlie B.

(4)James F.
A nice restaurant and experience. Typical "steak house" in positive sense: dark decor, great cuts of meat, cooked spot on, good sides. Service was very good. Nice wine list, bottle or by glass. Pricey but what you would expect. Would definitely go back.
(5)John H.
(5)Erika V.
It was good. I wasnt blown away but it was good. The sides were amazing but the steak was just OK. Wait staff was nice and I really enjoyed the live Piano. It was overpriced for what we got.
(3)Bud H.
(3)Maria Q.
(5)Beverly W.

(5)Jennifer S.

(4)Dean G.
(3)Sheenon O.
(3)Irina R.
Fantastically aged meats full of flavor. Excellent sides. Best steak I've ever had. Pricey but well worth it.
(5)karla f.
(3)Ed R.
(5)Suzanne B.

(3)Gary J.
If you venture to Park City, Utah for golf or winter sports this is the place to dine. Their bone-in ribeye is the best I have ever had. Nothing but local grass fed beef, great wine selection and the guy at the piano bar is outstanding.
(5)Daniel E.
(1)Lonnie R.
By far the best steak I have ever tasted . Service was excellent by Rebecca. Alacart item supreme. Don't miss this place.
(5)Brian S.
(4)N P.

(2)Elisa S.
(5)Skiboy S.
Service was awful, the back waiter was awesome and our main waiter could have cared less. We won't be back. The Ruth's Chris in Salt Lake has much better service.
(2)Darren B.
(5)Meghan K.
(5)William G.
Very good meal. Very reasonable. Good service, nice steak, good sides, nice wedge salad. When I am in Park City again I will return.
(4)matt o.
(3)Sherman T.
Excellent service, atmosphere and food especially for the high price but it was well worth it.
(5)William P.
Great meal from start to finish!

Great food and service, fantastic musicians in the bar, but be prepared to pay the big bucks! It is worth the money- we've eaten here 4 nights in a row before!

(5)Jeff F.

The best. Very consistent, alway high quality, great service and wonderful ambience. This is a winner.....la must for all in Park City, UT

FABULOUS service and we even sat in the bar area with no reservations on president's day weekend! Our group indulged on calamari, ahi, steak oscar, lobster, mac and cheese, silver oak...perfect evening! Prime and Talisker are my favs in PC!

(5)Pat C.
(5)DeAnn S.
